On January 17, 1920, Prohibition went into effect, banning the manufacture, transportation, and sale of intoxicating liquors. People who wanted to keep drinking found inventive ways to do it. Illegal manufacturing and sale of liquor (known as “bootlegging”) became prevalent throughout the 1920’s and early 1930’s. Our N Scale Rum Runner Set depicts one method of smuggling alcohol throughout the United States at that time. Contact your dealer to pre-order this set today!
