Built in 1917, then later named Clan Gordon in 1934, it was repainted in 1953 into the yellow and green scheme. Today, C&NW is now part of Union Pacific, exclusively a freight railroad with over 32,000 miles of track, but prior to 1971, C&NW operated numerous passenger trains and services.

Built for the Tidewater Southern in July 1955 by Pullman-Standard at their Michigan City, Indiana factory. The Tidewater Southern was formed in 1910 and ran from central California to points south. It was purchased by Western Pacific in 1917 and continued as a subsidiary through the 1970s before being rolled into Union Pacific.

This 39’ single dome tank car is white with black lettering and runs on Roller Bearing trucks. It was built in the early 1950s and belonged to car class Tk-N. In the 1980s, it was retired from revenue service and used for domestic water service in Barstow, California. Founded in 1859, Santa Fe was one of the largest railroads in North America up until 1996, when it merged with Burlington Northern to form BNSF.

Built in 1945 for New York Central, this 40’ boxcar was eventually sold to the US Railway Equipment Company and rebuilt to modern standards, including removing roofwalks and cutting down side ladders. It was then leased back to NYC and painted into the Jade Green scheme where it continued for another decade in revenue service.
