Rock Island – George Hollwedel
To commemorate the 100-year anniversary of the railroad, Rock Island bought 2,000 cars from Pullman-Standard in 1951-1952. Cars 21000 through 21749 had the Superior seven-panel doors, 21750 through 22249 had the Youngstown doors, and 22250 through 22999 had the Superior seven-panel doors. The price per 3-pack is $79.95.
