![]() These 70-ton twin bay covered hoppers are painted dark gray with large Union Pacific heralds and black lettering. They were built in September 1957 by Pullman-Standard and serviced in February 1960. They run on roller
bearing trucks. Typical lading for these cars included cement, sand, potash, soda ash, lime, alumina, fertilizers,
dolomite, soap, salt, plastic pellets and flour. Since many of these materials were highly corrosive, the twin bay
