These 50’ standard box cars with plug doors are painted armour yellow with aluminum roofs and ends. They bear the red, white and blue UP shield with the slogan ‘We Can Handle It’ in red. The cars are lettered in black and red. They were built in February 1964, serviced in May 1976, and run on Roller Bearing trucks. Originally numbered in series 499900 series, these box cars were renumbered into the 492801-492970 series when serviced in 1976. The UP 1970s slogan ‘WE CAN HANDLE IT’ was applied to their freight cars at this time.
