 The "War Bonds" freight car is the first in a series to commemorate inspirational artistic posters produced during World War Two. The "War Bonds" poster was produced in 1944 in the United States to raise money for the war effort and would have been posted in prominent public locations such as movie theaters, public buildings and the like.
